Apartment Locator

Apartment locators can provide you with valuable information about management companies, communities, amenities, and policies that you can’t get by searching online.

Our apartment locators have existing relationships with property managers and management companies and can provide you with knowledge you might not otherwise have. Plus, the service is free!

To help answer your questions about our service, we’ve put together a simple explanation.

Step 1: Contact Us

The process of finding your apartment starts by contacting us. You can either complete our online form or contact us by phone.

We’ll need some general information about your move such as date, budget, rental history, likes and dislikes, and any must haves or deal breakers.  Once we have this information we can begin searching for your near apartment.

Step 2: Receive and Review your Apartment Listing

The second part of the process involves matching your needs and desires with apartment communities.

The time it takes to do this can vary based on your request.

We will then e-mail our recommended options for you to review. This is also a great time to consult with your apartment locator to make any adjustments to your criteria.

Step 3: Select Apartments to Tour

After you have had time to review your listing and determine which apartment communities you wish to tour, let your apartment locator know. They will be happy to confirm availabilities and pricing for you ahead of your tour.

This is an added service we provide as pricing and availabilities can change at a moment’s notice. No need to waste time going to communities that don’t have an opening.

Step 4: Tour Apartments, Apply, Move in

When you visit the communities, tell them you are working with a locator and list ‘DFW Apartment Nerdz’ on any guest cards. Then when you’re ready to apply, list us on the application as well.

Some online applications don’t have a place to list us. In that case, be sure to advise your leasing agent. This is how we get paid.
